Tonight I was watching an episode of "America's got talent". It was a 42 year old woman who said that she wanted to be always a singer, but her parents sing told her that she could and encourage them to not follow her dream. If it was in their 20s she still wanted to sing, and as they tried, take vocal lessons the teacher said that they start it, was too old and it would never make it as a singer.
Still, the woman has never been on their dream. She never had to carried out above a stage, but since state them on prime-time television always ready to sing to millions of people. She was obviously very nervous and very shy, but when she began to sing the whole audience was deeply moved by the beauty of her voice. When she finished she gave her a standing ovation. The woman was so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from the audience, that they began crying. She could not believe so many people loved her singing so much. Nobody had supported ever encouraged them or their dream, but loved them; The roar of the crowd gave her feedback had they waited their whole lives to hear. It was nice.
The amazing thing about this woman is that it is the exception, not the rule. I do not mean that it is an exception, only because it has a beautiful singing voice. I believe that it is the exception, because they kept persevering, although in their lives, especially "authority" coach, trying so many characters such as her parents and the voice it to their dream discourage.
We all know the feeling something be amazed the US only on the flames of our enthusiasm wiped out with a negative comment, have judgment or lack of encouragement of someone else's heart lies. "Dream thieves" are people who dream to throw wet blankets on other people. These thieves can crash your lofty dreams send million pieces on the floor with a careless Word or thoughtless comment.Once that is done, have only a few of us the pieces together the strength or confidence again and try again.
Dream thieves show up in all forms and shape. You can be our parents, siblings, partner, or best friend. You can come their own lack of self esteem or just plain carelessness from a position of concern, fear of jealous. I ask me often, how many great singer, writer, inventor, actor, artist and other highly talented individuals have simply never discovered because someone somewhere has stolen on the way to her dream. As you get back your dreams and better yet, how keep stolen them in the first place be? Here are some ways to identify your dream, get it back if it has been stolen, and keep you from ever again robbed.
Identify your dream. One way to do this is ask this question: If an object were money and failure was not possible, what would you do? If you have identified it, write it down, give a vision to support Board and most importantly, have no doubt that it can happen in your life!Only you share your dreams with people who support you. Surround yourself with people, the love and the recommend. If you that someone might not supporting suspect you not them the possibility of your dream to steal by sharing it with them.
Remember, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". If you do not attempt, success is not an option and failure is a given.
Trust, fear not. Confidence is the bullet-proof vest for Adressdiebstahl dream. Dream of stealers feed on fear, sell and you. By reducing your faith in confidence, not fear you give your dreams grow fertile ground.
Never give up. Sure, you can fall on the way down, but sometimes these challenges are even greater us and our greatest lessons and do better things. If you never again get on the horse after you have fallen out, you will be never somewhere.
Allow never someone making $40,000 per year you say that you can make $100,000! Instead, if you look you managed, to fulfill their dreams. Talk to them about it to read, learn from them, let them.
Keep in mind that there no "-overs" in life. You get a chance, don't sit there not by on the sidelines. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
If you really set you want free, prepare station concern, what other people think. You are no better or smarter than you are, and have only fear failing as everyone else. In addition, no matter how much you think about it, never you control what, so not wasting the effort by trying other people think. Keep the cheerleaders in your life and the naysayers fire. They are not your time and your effort, and they are not value certainly value give up your dreams for!
Encourage others to follow their dreams. The dream Builder should be others for you. You'll be amazed at how empowering this can be!
Get credit. Praise not only the large is for small successes. Do something every day that makes you feel good about themselves. Exercise, take a walk, end of a project, and so on. One of my favorite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt. Mrs. Roosevelt said, "one each day on which you scares", i.e., your fears doing face and it anyway. One of the best ways, is to increase your self-esteem to set goals and update. Keep in mind that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Praise themselves and treat yourself credit for each step, you towards your dream, and keep in mind that the journey is as important as the goal!
Who they are, and where they come from, you think this out, just because stealers their truth speak dream, it's the truth, and it certainly needs to be not your truth! The choice is ultimately their. Going, great dream, and remember the words somewhere over the Rainbow "..." "on those who dare to dream really dream...."
